Stonington - Marlinespike Chandlery is a company started by Tim over 15 years ago. This company sprang from Tim's hobby of rope work, known as fancy marlinespike seamanship.  A "chandlery" is a sort of general store often found in seaport towns and thus the "Marlinespike Chandlery" is a store specializing in fancy marlinespike rope work.
