Little Hurricane is east of Rockland, Maine in West Penobscot Bay, and off the southwestern shore of Vinalhaven. The view is looking south. The island sits next to the larger and better known, Hurricane Island, where The Outward Bound School (HIOBS) operated some of it’s Maine summer youth programs.
