To make these authentic bags, Stephanie Crossman hand-knots nylon fish netting and then hand-dyes each finished bag. The end result is rugged, fashionable, and holds over 200 pounds! Great for the beach, groceries, library books, and more.
Made with antique tools, each knot (approx. 1122) is put in one at a time by hand, not machine-made. Do not be fooled by "crochetted netting". Stephanie learned this craft from her Grandmother. Enjoy some maritime history while saving the planet from plastic bags!
Approx. size: 15" x 17" with an approx. 30" strap.
Since they are hand-dyed, shades may vary somewhat.
