Matinicus - Kathleen designs the patterns and hand-dyes the velvet herself to create lovely scarves and cowls. Kathleen has been making scarves since 1999. There are usually more in the retail shop on Main Street in Rockland than we're able to put online. 

"I began making velvet scarves in 1999, here on Matinicus Island, Maine where my husband and I had moved after almost twenty years in New York City. I have experimented with different styles and techniques over the years, and have gone from selling in a wholesale market to more one of a kind and smaller settings. Enjoy!"
