Made in Woolwich, Maine. Martha Miller is an artist with a BFA in Printmaking. Her Natural Ink Tarot deck is her homage to psychici and artist Pamela Coleman Smith. Specifically, her mystical, visionary illustrations for the most well known of all Tarot decks, the Rider-Waite Tarot, first published in 1909.

The Natural Ink Tarot images are based on Smith's illustrations and were drawn with inks that I made from foraged natural materials including beets, black walnuts, acorn caps, oak galls, wild grapes, copper, rust, tumeric and elderberries. I believe that these natural ingredients add a little extra magic to the cards and it is my hope that the Natural Ink Tarot will bring a little extra magic and guidance to your days!
