Artist Jon Mort spends his summers at his studio in Port Clyde, where he creates work inspired by the rugged coast, natural beauty, and wildlife of Maine. Island Worlds recalls a favorite site of childhood explorations. "The movements of the tide define the coast, the islands, and beauty of this place, " says Mort. "To watch the tide here is to feel the wonder of the world turning under you."
