Nancy L Coleman

Damariscotta Mills - Nancy has worked as an artist and printmaker for over 40 years. She enjoys drawing as a means of expression and loves the technical challenges that arise from the process of developing her images on an etching plate and printing editions. In most instances, color is added by hand using watercolor paints. "My imagery comes directly from my surroundings - from everyday life and from nature. The images, the work, the printmaking process, all help bring the world into focus and give me a means to move back in my life to a simpler, less chaotic time."
