Tin buoy with Beads
These fun, recylced tin, buoy earrings are perfect for summer or when you're dreaming of summer. They are hand cut, then filed, sanded and drilled. Silver beaded dangles of glass beads hang from the buoy and the earring hang from handcut 20 gauge sterling silver ear wires. Each one is handcrafted so there is a slight variation between them and because the tin is repurposed, there may be some small scratches on the surface, (only adding to the charm). The backs are silver colored, and are sanded to a distressed look.
These eco-friendly earrings are inspired by the ubiquitous lobster buoys seen on the coast of Maine. They are super light weight.
All the edges have been filed and sanded and are not sharp.
They measure approximately 2 3/16” long. The tin measures 1” x 3/4”.
