Old Orchard Beach - Downeast Candle Co. was born out of a passion for candles. The candles are hand poured in small batches, using a natural coconut soy wax blend and braided lead-free cotton wicks. Downeast Candle uses clean, high quality fragrance oils to ensure the best quality candle.  "It would be fair to say that we have candles burning in most rooms in our house, sometimes even 2 in one room. It is important to me to create a safe product to burn in homes; around family and pets. Because of that I chose to create my candles with phthalate free, high quality fragrance oils, braided cotton core wicks and sustainable coconut and soy waxes.
