Join Archipelago, Island Institute’s store and gallery, for Elemental a show of works featuring the use of a variety of techniques celebrating many sources of Maine inspiration. Earth, Air, Water, Fire are present in inspiration or techniques used in the medium. Archipelago’s store and gallery shares recent works from many Maine artists including new works from Jane Banquer, Holly Berry, Andre Benoit, Pam Cabanas, Terry Golson, Lee Gordon, Emily Bell-Hoerth, Clint Jones, Richard MacDonald, Robin Rier, Susan Sidwell, Christina Vincent, Shannon Westphal, Sarah Wilde, and Ben Williamson.
Pieces showcase many mediums including photography, acrylic, glass, linoleum prints, steel, sgraffito, large papercuts, wood and more! Mixing new and long-time Archipelago artists, there’s something for everyone to browse or purchase for gift giving or for your own collection.
Join us in the gallery from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 6 to meet the artists and share good food, drink, and conversations as part of Rockland’s First Friday art walk.
