Islesford, Little Cranberry - Located 3.5 miles off-shore from Acadia National Park, Little Cranberry Island, Maine (also known as Islesford) is the island I call home. During the summers you can find me and my work at Islesford Pottery down on the scenic Islesford Dock. From October to May, I nestle up in my winter studio just up the road. I make pots all year long and can’t imagine a more beautiful place to live and work. The stillness of winter as well as the bustling beauty of summer on the island inspire me to create colorful, functional, majolica-glazed earthenware pottery.

Kaitlyn's work is on display in the gallery as part of "Currents and Channels: Four Coastal Maine Artists" through September 25th.
