This beautiful serving tray is made from locally sourced oak and built using traditional joinery. The bottom is a waterproof nautical chart of Maine’s coast from Wells to Mount Desert Island. The tray comes with a hangtag on linen cardstock and jute string, which provides a short story about the product and care instructions.
About the creator: Evan Emmott is a wooden boat builder and furniture maker. All of his pieces employ traditional hand-cut joinery, such as dovetails and mortise and tenon, while the designs are contemporary.
